Fionne's Convo + Sleepover + Wii

On Monday, Hui and me first met up with Min for tea at Xin Wang Taiwan Cafe. The side dishes are frankly, overpriced, in my opinion. Then we took the train down to JP to get Fionne's convo gift. The DIY deco cake. =D Had a really fun time drawing and sticking flowers.

At Nanyang Audi, met my cousin who also had his convocation that day and then took customary shots with Fionne in her grad gown. Reminds me of my S'goon Broadway days. Anyhow, NTU should really provide more food for the buffet tables. It doesn't leave a good impression to coop up graduates and their friends and families till 7+ and then not having enough food to go around. Either that, or all those kiasu people should only take their share and leave some for others.

We had to settle for a light dinner of Tom Yum Fish Slice Soup at Giant. Long car ride from NTU to Pasir Ris. I'm sure Fionne is more than happy that she doesn't really need to visit that part of Singapore ever again, except maybe JP's The Icing Place.

Picked up Min from Pasir Ris MRT and went for a light supper of Mac's Seaweed Shaker fries. Went back to Fionne's place and after bathing and all, Fionne was ready to say good night to the world. Tsk tsk. What kind of sleepover is that? Hui, Min and me persevered and played Cluedo! Whoo! And watched Channel 55 on cable. If I have that channel, I really won't be able to leave the TV. It's just dramas all round.

Caught some shut-eye before going Super Dog for breakfast. =D I think I like Super Dog's breakfast. Actually Fionne's place isn't bad - there are really a lot of amenities near it, but not so much till it's like congested. And after Super Dog and lots of talking and "banging of my head" (let's not talk about that anymore), we went Gelare for half-priced waffles and more talk. Dinner/tea was at Tea Valley where me and Fionne tried Guo Tie. Downtown East is a rather nice place to hang out. Too bad it's not really convenient. Yes, we spent our whole day eating and walking to more places to eat. Haha.

And then everybody trooped over to BF's place for some Wii fun.

Nice way to waste two days. Maybe next time we can try more sporty activities instead of just nua-ing. Haha. Although I like nua-ing too.

Photos should be up on FB.

Forgot to mention that lunch with Yanni on Monday was nice. Going back to office and seeing all those familiar faces. Too bad didn't see any of the other interns. Bad timing.
