Happy Birthday Jia Wei!

Happy Birthday, Love!

After school started with coffee at Coffea Coffee. I won't get sick of the coffee shops in Korea. Neither will I get sick of the facial products. Order cappucino this time - madonna blend. Preferred my mocha last time. =(

And then dinner was bulgogi.

My table of non-beef eaters.

And then we played board games at Chess, which is like a Korean version of Minds or Settlers. Things are seriously cheaper here. It only costed 4,000 won to play 2 hours, with a free drink thrown in.

Near our school, there was some sort of protest. Apparently the student union of PNU wanted to hold a concert to commemorate the death of the previous President Roh. But the school body didn't want to be involved in politics or are supporters of the current establishment. So they held vigil at the front gates and shouted protest slogans from time to time. And there were a lot of policemen being deployed carrying shields. Quite exciting. Cuz we being in sheltered Singapore have never seen such a spectacle before. We wanted to take pictures, but I think it wouldn't have been the most appropriate thing to do. The protest seemed quite peaceful, just that the main entrance for the school buses were blocked.
Such a contrast from apathetic Singapore.
