Queen and the Mangosteen

I think Jessie might wear her rainboots later. haha. It's been pouring since the early morning and that would have been perfect weather to sleep in, but somehow the noises in my house and my own bodyclock do  not provide a conducive environment for sleeping in.

Because yesterday was also a rainy day and the PR team cum Esther and Suki didn't feel like going out, we ordered in Brindas which serves North Indian food. Like my first time eating thosai. And I like it. :) Brindas do delivery 24/7, and delivery is free if you order in above $25. They should have had this service when I was in hall and hungry for supper and without the support of HW anymore. haha.

Ooh and my parents are back from Japan. :) Told them to help me buy majolica. They didn't buy that. Instead they bought 3 other mascaras back. No idea how I'm going to finish them. Anyway, anyone knows how long do mascaras last?

Did online shopping with the office peeps from ASOS. Got a polka dotted tunic for 5 pounds. We ordered on Tuesday and the delivery was made yesterday. Seems even faster than some local purchases. :)

Met up with hui, fio and thong for dinner at Queen and Mangosteen, which is totally packed on Friday nights at dinner time and you have to make a reservation to get in. We almost couldn't get our table, cuz Hui and Fio had work delays and they would only sit a full table. Luckily as the night wore on and the girls arrived, tables freed up. After that we went shopping for Hui's grad night and my Chic party happening tonight. Later after Hui and Thong went about their ways to more happening places, Fio and me settled for ice cream at Haagen Diaz. Their new flavour, caramel biscuit and cream was fantastic.

I think I'm getting old. Now when I take a whole teh bing or too much caffeine, I get a headache. And my digestion is rather bad. I keep getting heartburn. Maybe I should cut meat from my diet, like hui. But then, Nandos just opened at Bugis Junction. Hahahaha.

Going for a Jap buffet later near NJC. Hope the distance is worth it. haha.
