Rec Treat
Yesterday was supposed to be the annual meeting with the squadmates. But rec treat had to be on this day too. Sometimes I question the decisions I make. And as I grow older, I kindof figure out what kind of person I am, which scares me.
Anyway, rec treat was a whole load of Sarpinos. I bet Jieli must have been sad he couldn't make it. There were a whole bunch of beef flavours, which sounded vaguely like The Butcher, double pepperoni, pepperoni (why do you need to order pepperoni when you already have double pepperoni?) etc. Flavours that I can eat included the cheaper vegetarian one with olives which I didn't eat, San Renos (my all-time fave), Aloha and Ham & Egg (which tasted not bad. I love all things breakfassy). Because it was held in the rather unconducive environment of the canteen (cuz reading room is still under construction and cuz the juniors are a bunch of law-abiding citizens who do not eat in the games room, meeting room etc), there wasn't much talking between the different teams. I ate like 3 slices of pizza. Damn full.
Jessie and me thought that it would be fun to bring a bit of Singapore culture to our largely foreign word games team. So we lao Yu Sheng. Haha. Ends up nobody really likes Yu Sheng after all. They just like the crackers. Hahahaha. So we had to play all sorts of stupid party games to get rid of all the yusheng.
And only after getting rid of all the yusheng did we start training. Haha.
I hope my squadmates had fun.
