When in Rome

This is fast becoming a movies only blog. Haha. Sorry, we are the most boring couple in the world and our only hobby is to catch movies and waste money on salted popcorn (which JW read somewhere that it's the healthiest movie snack).

When in Rome's title character, Beth, reminds me a lot of myself. She is a workaholic whose married to her job. She doesn't believe in love, seeing her parents' marriage break apart and having been previously hurt in relationships.

She visits Rome for her sister, Joan's wedding to an Italian man, Antonio, with whom she just met two weeks ago. There she meets Nick, Antonio's best man. Thinking that Nick and her had some chemistry going on, she decides to take a chance only to spot Nick passionately kissing a hot woman. Dejected, Beth drinks a lot of champagne and pours her sorrow to the fountain of love. In her drunken stupor, she picks up 5 coins that people hoping for love throw into the fountain. Magically, 5 different men started wooing her as if in a weird spell.

Hilarious romantic comedy. :)
