club med

Club Med, where happiness means the world.

Xmas decor at changi airport, which involves disney characters. I dunno why.

We arrived at Club Med and were greeted by the very friendly receptionists who hung fresh orchids on us and served us iced tea and water and cold towels.

Bathroom. Me with orchid thingy.

Enormous amounts of attention is paid to every single detail. This is the top of the dustbin. Every morning, someone would press the club med logo on top of every single sand ash tray.

My bedroom with three beds.

Can u see my tan lines? =(

The dining table.

This is cute trapeze instructor number one. Alil from SINGAPORE! Whoo! The only Singaporean working in Club Med Phuket. He's a commando sia, and it's wonderful to be able to converse in singlish. And he's super gentlemanly and charming. And he's single. Haha.

Club Med at night.

WJ with beer.

I think I look seriously slutty here. Whatever. It's like ladies night every night, but better. There's a party every night and the cocktails and the hard liquor is free flow. I can have my vodka sprite all the time, even in the morning.

Club Med in the day.

The beach. Seriously, this is the view from my room. Nice, right?

I played pool for the first time here.

The giant chess set.

The trapeze. I tried it and I love it. You get up, put your legs up, hooked them and then you fly upside down. Haha. And there are other tricks too. But I'm just a beginner. Besides climbing up that ridiculously tall ladder time and time again to get to the bar is just too tiring. No wonder all the trapeze artists have like bulging biceps. =)

This is some bouncy thing which I didn't get to try. =( Not enough time.

The guy in the black cap is handsome trapeze instructor number 2. =P This is Wesley from South Africa. He is cool. I had the wonderful opportunity to had dinner with these guys, the people from the circus team. =)

wj and me at bk phuket airport.

waiting at the airport for our flight back home.
Didn't take much photos, but there were a lot of firsts for me at club med. I tried archery, snorkeling, water aerobics, yoga, trapeze ... ... No horsies, but the G.Os (I think that means game organizers, it's like GLs cum Programmers liddat) are incredibly friendly and fun. I think like if in future I don't have a job, I might apply here. It's a good learning experience. But I think I should develop a talent first. If not, what I teach?
=( I have no talent. Sianz.
I've also learn that though my body is not perfect. It's okay. Cuz there are worst. Haha. Only there can I prance around in a bikini like nobody's business, cuz there are older and fatter women prancing around in their bikinis or half naked. But I had to get used to the culture a bit. Hehz. People are really friendly here and though you're in a bikini, it's all hugs and air kisses. Feels weird when you're like only wearing underwear and guys hold onto your arm and stuff and pull you for an air kiss.
I didn't really experience Thailand or Phuket culture. This holiday is different. I experienced Club Med culture. I think it doesn't matter where I am, even if I go to another country and another Club Med, it's should still be the same culture.
And I seriously think guys dig girls who do sports. dotz. One of the first questions any cute GOs ask me would be: "What sports do you do?" Haiz. Sian. The market for scrabble playing girls is like non-existent. Hahahaha.
