Dim Sum Buffet 2
This is Part 2 of my Dim Sum adventures at Excelsior Hotel. This time I went with a totally different crowd. We had 4 guys this time and just Jessie and me. Ended up ordering X3 of whatever I ordered with Hui and Min. And we finished everything (maybe cuz nobody ordered bee hoon. haha min. =P). I didn't eat till I wanted to burst (good to my body I am); drank lots of tea till I wanted to burst though. We discovered that Miramar had more variety (cuz there were no egg tarts here, but I don't remember egg tarts at Miramar either, no xi gua si mi lu here though =(), but YL claims the dimsum here tastes better. Conversation ensued on where the best dimsum can be found. Jessie said Geylang (really? where? JW should really bring me go). Da Ge and YL said Crystal Jade. I just don't want to pay too much and yet get to enjoy dimsum so I opt for buffets!

CY's mini spanner keychain. He carries around a lot of tools.
Everyone's tickled by CY's goatee/beard (?)

This is the large plate. There were more chicken wings but they were koped. Gave up on the food shots, figured they would look like the previous blog post. Haha. This time around, the dessert of the day was red bean soup.
After dimsum, CY, Jessie, YL & me walked aimlessly around Raffles City, Citylink and then Marina Square. Jessie and me got shoes at my absolute favorite shoe shop Rubi =) And then CY tried his luck at a machine in Marina Square. It's the one where you have to grab stuff and then put it/them in an angle so that other stuff get pushed and drop out of a chute. I used to play that one with JW at PS. CY was like a total gambler. OMT. He was so determined to get his Xiao Ding Dang. I took pity on him and gave him $1.
