For Madeleine

Under JL's recommendations, we travelled all the way to Tanjong Katong for Madaleine's Portuguese Egg Tarts. I'm happy to report that they were warm, the filling moist and the crust crispy. Yums. They cost $2.20 for a box of 3 and $8.50 for a box of 12. :)

Walking around Katong brought back a little VJ memories. I think it was just a pity that when in VJ, I never bothered to explore the Katong area, neither did I explore the East Coast area much. Haha. Walked all the way till we found a Katong Laksa outlet.

Then walked to Parkway Parade trying to find Koi (Yup, there is Koi at Parkway can!), before taking a bus to Suntec to check out the various exhibitions (We found Madaleine's Egg Tarts there. So angry!) and a not very exciting flea market at Padang. Headed down to UNIQLO at 313 Somerset to buy polos for JL. Ended up buying from Cotton On instead. And then more XLB (I know twice in a week!) at Din Tai Fung.

I think I walked a lot today. Like at least 6 hours lor.
