My week

The weekend passed by in a flash. After meeting Grace for 430 discussion, I met JW and we went k-ing with his friends at this super cheap place (I think it's called Teo Heng) at Katong Shopping Centre.

Then the next day, we cooked lunch for ourselves. =) Very, very proud of the results.

Oh, and we had chocolate fondue with strawberries for dessert. Yumz.

Then, JW came and stayed over at my place. And the next day, we went CBC to swim and eat dimsum lunch with the family.

But the highlight of the weekend was going for SUPERBAND finals!

And seeing May Day in action. They were beyond awesome.

It was a fantastic, exhilirating ride to the finals and I'm so glad Tu Zi made it. Very proud of Joyce and her band. And I don't care what the judges or what TST or Calvin says, Joyce is the best drummer I've ever ever met and that's talent, not mere packaging. Even JW wants to learn the drums from her (although by now, I think she might probably charge $100 an hour. Haha.) Yay! Tu Zi rocks! And it's damn fun swaying your green light sticks with the rest of the fans/friends. =) When Da Feng Chui was said to have won the voting round 1, the Tu Zi peeps around me panicked and I saw a lot of people around me frantically smsing B4. Haha.

Then, on Monday night, I found the grossest thing ever in my sports shoe, while preparing to go jogging. I tried to put my foot into my right shoe and to my dismay, it didn't fit and there was something hard inside. So I knocked the shoe and even put my finger inside and stuff eventually came out. Take a look.

It's a wasp nest. And there were like 20 over dead spiders inside (food for the larvae) and there was the very disgusting white larvae. I was seriously grossed out. But at the same time, some morbid fascination held Jessie and mine attention. I knocked it out into a box because I thought WJ might be interested.

I have since washed my shoes. Thanks to JW for digging everything out. The larva have since been eaten up by Jieli's fish. The food chain. -_-"

Went for The Sun Festival briefing and what we will be doing seems to be rather interesting. I hope I can cope though, what with all the reports and projects.

The stupid ntu internet is down. =( Damn sianz.
