Shinjuku Incident

Shinjuku Incident is a really, really sad movie. It made me sad. Sorry, I am a sappy person who likes happy endings. But most thinking movies that reflect the reality of life don't really have happy endings, because life isn't all about happy endings. It's about living and making the best of things. A lot of themes were explored in this movie - Fate, power, contentment with life. I hate the fact that they had to chop off Daniel Wu's hand and draw a scar over his face and the fact that he had a really bad hairdo plus a weird wig. Another memorable thing about the movie was that JJ booked the front row by accident. I have a neckache and a backache.

It's good to have friends who drive, cuz then we can go for supper after a late night movie. We chose Lau Pa Sat, where there were touts. Business must be really really bad these days.

I want to buy Cotton On denim skirts and their flats.

Birthday lunch was held early this year at Changi Village Hotel. The food was so so only. I'm not going to be twentyone for long now. Sigh.
