Korea 23rd - 25th

This is like flour with spring onions and squid. It tastes like carrot cake.

This is how they serve barcadi and sprite.

This is the restaurant where we had the Barcadi and the fried pancake thing. It's alfresco and in a forested environment. You have to trek a bit to get there.

This is kimchi that we made in class. I should be bringing back a box. Though I doubt anybody will eat.

Kimchi making class - Professor of food and nutrition, charissa, me, Hyeri and a graduate student of the school. Yahz, we were taught kimchi making by a Professor, who made the process seemed scientific and who said that maybe kimchi was so healthy it could cure H1N1.

This is one of the Korean students' hp. The heart thing hanging from it is their ezlink card. So cute, right? Much cuter than our stupid boring cards. You can buy drinks and pay for other things as well as donate to charity with that card.

Our dormitory is up on a hill, so we climb up and down slopes quite often.

We took the train to Centrum City to go ice-skating. That's Yeung Euk, or Yong Xu (in mandarin). He's the guy in the green shirt.

Ice-skating was not bad. Saw an Olympic gold medalist. And ice hockey training is damn tough.

At Centrum City, we ate at their food court. You have to wait till your number is flashed before you collect your food. Like when we go polyclinic.

We are going for Korean lessons soon. It's really difficult and the teacher or Sang Sae Nim is really really fast. =(
