Korea 27th - 28th June

Forgot to upload this pick. This is the lip scrub thing for Yanni. And that's the sample that came with it.

We went to the beach on Saturday.
Many people go to the beach, cuz it's summer.

Charissa and me. The water is freezing cold. Seriously. It's like my whole body was numb.

This is my Mybi card, which is like their ezlink. We got it cuz it may be useful in Seoul.
And then on Sunday, we took the subway to some fish market in Busan.
Yew Leong and me. That Super Man cap is Young Uk's.

This is the view from the harbor.

A candid shot.
Hyeri, Young Uk, me and Charissa.

The fish market sells really fresh fish and you are supposed to pick some fish and then they will slice it up for you to become Sashimi sortaf.

Edna and me.

The sashimi and all the condiments. The Japanese eat sashimi with soy sauce and wasabi. The Koreans eat it with veggie and kimchi sauce. My parents used to say that it was a waste of money bringing me for buffets because I hardly touch sashimi. But I believe after this plate, I have acquired the appetite for raw fish.

There are always lots and lots of side dishes in Korea.

This is a type of soju. The Koreans' traditional liquor. Koreans drink a lot.

Gan bei.

Sang Won and the hot pot. After we are done with the raw fish, they serve a hot pot which has all the remaining stuff from the fish that we didn't eat raw. The Koreans eat it with rice and more side dishes. I just drank the soup and eat the fish. It was really sweet and fresh. And it's all natural. No MSG whatsoever.

And then we walked through the Pusan International Film Festival square to get to Busan Tower.

A cultural performance on my way there.

There is a park near Busan tower known as Dragon Park.

The view from on top the observatory tower.

Us pretending to be tired.

Us taking a break at the cafe in the observatory tower, which wasn't really worth it. But oh well.

Wooden rocking toys at Busan Tower.

Bears and me.

And the weekend is spent. =(
