Whacking

My body is interconnected and it is difficult to do isolated muscle actions. Which explains why I suck at whackin' and other poppin' dances. :(

First lesson of whackin' with Jieli and I think I move like an ostrich. Haha. Though we didn't do a lot of fast-paced action, my shoulders and ribcage kind of ache cuz we had to keep practising this jerk out your chest movement which 'cher calls the heartbeat. When 'cher does it, she looks so in-tune with the music and like there's a flow of movements. When I do it, I resemble an ostrich trying to duck beneath a rock. Sigh.

And I'm torn. I don't think I can go for next two weeks' lessons cuz of work. Damn. I will be so behind. Looking like an ostrich and so behind.

And with immediate effect, someone in office has moved up, leaving behind some clippings stuff that adds to my responsibilities - which already include some clients to clip. Damn. Okay, I know I'm being paid more than the average person at an agency. But we seriously need interns. I'm not only doing high-level stuff like writing but intern stuff that I used to do as well. Sigh. Intern stuff with all the formatting takes a shitload of time.
