TWG with Hui

Is it me or is the reception at Orchard MRT Station terribly bad? Met up with Hui at said location and spend around 15minutes trying to contact her.

Browsed around the shops. Looking at prices of winter coats and boots (doubt I will be going anywhere though, continue reading). And finally settled for tea at TWG. I've always wanted to go there. We ordered the most basic tea set after a long wait for seats. Got a recommended black tea, I think some 1874 Assam blend (hardly any calories, yay!) and tucked into scones with cream and jam. Yums. Feel all quaint and Englishy. Could hardly believe that TWG wasn't set up by British people, but rather local Indians. Hmm. Yay! Finally went to a tea cafe. :)

After that trooped down to Singapore Expo with JW and paid $4 for entry into NATAs Fair 2010. Collected as much info as possible on a trip to Japan in late December. Terribly pricy and thus perhaps not a good/right time to go after all. I will figure out some other way to make use of my leave, I guess. Although if anybody wants to go for a holiday in late December, please contact me. :D
