Le Weekend
JW is out!!!
Haha. After a self-imposed three (or two. I dunno. Seems forever) separation from each other, JW is out! And the first thing he did was to buy Guitar Heroes 3 for me! :) Right, that isn't the most romantic or appropriate gift, I guess (considering I don't really know how to play and I have a lousy sense of rhythm), but still :).
In any case, I thought it was perfect since I was meeting up with the hall 9 clique on Saturday night for a Xmas potluck at my place. Unfortunately, we couldn't play the game in the end cuz of some teething problems with the original wii set and we were afraid that the set would "break" due to the new updates. So JW has to go home and figure it out first.
Luckily for all of us, WJ bought entertainment and we watched Legend of the Guardians (I think)...some owl animation while munching on all sorts of food that everyone kindly brought over. Hilarious. And then they watched the Michelle Yeoh assassin movie while a group of us played mj (yup, the table's in the house :)) Even though we couldn't play Guitar Heroes, there was Raving Rabbits and wii sports.
Yes, I know...my house is all ready for visitors and gatherings. Now I just need a helper to clean up after everything. Mopping up downstairs is such a pain. But still, I kindof like having people over. I think I get that from my mum.
Visited nex with JW on Sunday to get his hair cut. And then we queued for some bubble tea (I forgot the name), but it's a specialist shop, not your normal sweet talk variety. Dreading to go back to work and the gazillions of clippings and reports on SA I have to complete before I fly. Counting down...Two days to Australia. WOOHOO!
Oh, I forgot to take any photos of the gatherings or my dates. Maybe I will remember to capture some Australian memories on iPhone. :p
